TP-Link 8616 Drivers

Hello,
For a few days, I no longer have an internet connection. The cause would be the obsolescence of the modem (Linksys 354 WAG). I have a second newer modem (TP Link 8616 v8.1) which I cannot install. Indeed, when I run the installation CD and after scrolling through the progress bars, it hangs: "The device driver wasn't installed".
Why this driver problem happens?
On my previous machine, I used this TP Link without any problems.
My computer is an HP 7447 MCE.
