Loss of cable/network connection

Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T410 running Windows 10 Pro (1909/64 bits), directly connected by cable to the router. Everything was working fine, then suddenly there was no connection. Whether on the Ethernet port of the laptop or the docking station. The connection via Wifi works.
The Ethernet port is "seen" in "Network and Internet" / Ethernet, but "Not connected". The cable works fine, connected to another machine, the latter has access to the internet without any problem. Cable connected, no LED on the Ethernet socket is flashing.
Actions taken (not successful): "Solving network problems", removing and reinstalling the driver (Microsoft driver) for the network card (Intel 82577LM Gigabit), updating with Intel drivers, running Snappy Driver, ipconfig / renew. I completely reinstalled the machine with the 2004 version, unfortunately without more success.
The Ethernet card is still recognized (with MAC address), but no cable connection. Note that the Network Card Events tab says "PCI device \ ..... requires installation to continue", but I have no idea what to do.
The hardware starting a little out of date, is there a way to check if there is no physical failure (card, controller, etc.)?

Any help is welcome.

Thank you!

Mark, hello!

Try to replace the cable and try to connect your PC to another router.

Weird problems happen sometimes.
