Intel 4600 Graphic Driver Problem

Hello, all!

My friend has a PC with an intel graphic 4600 and an Intel core i5 4590.

When I received the PC, the GPU had the driver 20.19.15.4835 so I checked the drivers and I noticed that the driver version was not up to date, so I manually downloaded the driver 15.40.45.5126 which is the most recent version for the GPU.

First I had to force the installation of the new driver because it will show me an incompatible hardware error if I wanted to install it automatically.

After restarting the PC, the GPU was up to date with the driver version 15.40.45.5126 but after several days and therefore several reboots, the driver version automatically switches to the previous one, 20.19.15.4835.

I wanted to know if there is a way for the pc to stop downgrading the version of the driver as it pleases and that the latter keeps the version 15.40.45.5126.

Some will say that it is not a problem to keep the old driver but for me it is a problem because with the old version, the vertical sync on some of my games does not work.

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hello!

Uninstall current driver (15.40.*) and install this one:
https://drivers.plus/fr/intel-hd-graphi ... 35/286859/

Also you can use this software to prevent Win10 from automatic driver updates.
