Connected (paired) but non-functional mouse

Hello,
I acquired a new Bluetooth mouse (Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600), following the loss of my previous mouse, and proceeded to pair it with my laptop.
Following this manipulation, the latter appears to be well coupled with my computer, but nevertheless I cannot manage to use it (move the cursor, left / right click).
Do any of you know how to solve this problem?
