Good morning,
I recently bought the 970 EVO SSD from samsung, an NVMe M.2.
But by plugging it in neither windows (disk manager) nor my motherboard detects it.
My motherboard is a Z370P D3 gigabyte, I plugged the ssd into the m2p_32g slot
I downloaded the driver from the samsung site, a little odd the .exe only works from my HDD but if I run it from my sata nothing happens. When launching it from the HDD a message appears saying that the samsung is not connected to my pc.
There is nothing plugged into the SATA3 0 slot (I understand that I cannot have something on this slot and on the m2p simultaneously), I have a sata ssd with windows on it and an hdd on two more slots.
I looked for a bios update for my motherboard, but in this list I can't see anything about the nvme. https://www.gigabyte.com/fr/Motherboard ... rt-dl-bios
Do you have any ideas?
My motherboard does not detect my new SSD
