Asus FX503VM Overload Problem

Post by zina »

Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well at home.

First of all I would like to clarify that I put this post in the computer hardware section because my problem is general on my pc and I did not find an appropriate section.

I am using an Asus FX503VM laptop PC.

My issue is the following :

I notice an overload of my peripherals since the resetting of my pc thanks to a hard reset of Windows 10 64 bit (live-usb).

Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 1060 GTX
When I play a game (in particular leagueol), my pc displays 150-220 IPS, but it happens that I drop down to 60 IPS, even if I set the graphics parameters to zero.
I noticed that my device manager (Performance section) displays 100% peaks on the 3D band and this randomly.
Likewise, when I plug in my oculus rift headset, in any game or application, the image is very fluid, followed by high graphics latency (approx. 5sec).

Internet :
Likewise for the internet, I sometimes stay at 60ms then peak at 350ms randomly.

Touchpad:
My touchpad is the same. When I move my mouse it can happen that the pad lags in the same way as if it ran out of battery. No more problem when I plug in a wired mouse.

Incomprehensible to me, I installed a clean version of Windows (official), my drivers are up to date (all drivers), and my Windows Update shows me "up to date".

For the graphics section, I contacted Nvidia about this problem and they advised me to uninstall the game ready driver and install the dedicated driver for my card directly on the asus support driver site. What I did, but no change.

So suddenly I wonder if this is due to a bios setting or a motherboard setting, but from there I miss my computer skills.
I am currently downloading and installing all the drivers from the asus support site. I think I've done this before, but I'm not sure.

Additional information :
Pc constantly connected to the mains socket.
Internet via Ethernet + Cpl box connected to the box.
Bios V311 installed.

This is why I am asking you.

Do you have a similar experience?

Thank you and good day.

Hello!

Try to install clean version of Win 10 x64 bit with all updates (not live-usb).

Let us know about results.
