Asus ROG STRIX Z490-H GAMING - No ethernet / wifi

Post by vera »

Hello!

I just received my config and after installing windows 10 pro and the drivers for my motherboard (Asus ROG STRIX Z490-H GAMING) and my graphics card, it turns out that my network card (sensible be up to date, the driver installed is the last available) does not detect the ethernet cable at all (connection ok, I unplugged it from the old pc to the new one, no change of cable, no bad connection etc) j 've tried a lot of things:

1. different driver versions.
2. automatic search via windows update.
3. various searches on the Asus site, as well as other forums.

Some other weird elements, there is in the driver pack an "Update of the network chipset and the Windows drivers" named "I225V_End_User_FW_UPDATE" but when I start it, after installing the card driver, the command does not go up to at the end (see image below)

Wi-Fi driver, despite having been launched too, does not seem to work either, having no access to wifi networks in my choice of connections. (not very serious this part, my goal was to always be on ethernet)

I am currently in tethering with my phone via wifi, but I would like to fix this problem.
Full config:

- Intel Core i7-10700K (3.8 GHz / 5.1 GHz)
- ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-H GAMING;
- G.Skill Aegis 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz CL16;
- ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER ROG-STRIX-RTX2080S-8G-GAMING;
- Corsair Force MP510 V2 960 GB;
- Corsair RM850 80PLUS Gold;
- Corsair Hydro Series H60;
- Seagate BarraCuda 2 TB.

There you go, I hope I haven't forgotten anything and that someone can help me.
Thank you for your time!

Hello, Vera!

Did you try to remove the driver manually via Device manager?

Try to uninstall all drivers and install them via:
