Printer Canon iR 1024F

Hello,

I want to install the Canon IR 1024 if on a windows 7 32 bit but I no longer have the cd-rom.
I went to the canon site and downloaded the driver.
I launch it, it installs and for a moment it asks me to connect the printer.
When I connect the printer it turns and for a moment it says that the printer is not installed. He tells me to unplug and turn off the printer. And turn it back on and and plug it in and click continue.
When I do it is always the same.
Printer not installed.
What to do?
