Bug Fixed:
1. Fix the bug that the device name identified by the root AP will not be RE210 after WPS connection is established.
2. Fix the bug that the settings of the UerConfig.txt would have some difference with the web page in some scenarios.
3. Fix the bug that when using domain name to log into the management page of RE210, it would fail in some scenarios.
4. Fix the bug that DUT may associated with some rootAP with wrong wireless bandwidth in some scenarios.
How to upgrade TP-LINK Range Extender:
– After you downloaded the firmware, please use decompression software to extract the firmware file to a folder;
– Do NOT upgrade the firmware via wireless connection except
– Do NOT turn off the power or cut down the Ethernet cable during upgrade process;
– Because after upgrading the old settings may be lost, so please write down the key settings as a backup before you start to upgrade.
– Step 1 Log into the TP-LINK device by typing http://tplinkrepeater.net/ in the address bar of the web browser (such as Internet Explorer). The username and password are both admin unless you have changed it before.
– Step 2 Haga clic en Herramientas del sistema -> Actualización del firmware, haga clic en el botón Examinar para elegir el firmware que ya extrajo en la carpeta.
– Step 3 Haga clic en el botón Actualizar. El dispositivo se reiniciará automáticamente una vez finalizada la actualización. Por favor, espere unos 3 minutos.
– Step 4 Click Status, verify that the device’s firmware has been upgraded.
– Step 5 Then, check the status page of your device, if necessary please re-enter or reconfigure the device manually with the parameters you have written down before upgrading.
