Firmware Version 1.0.5.1.00 incorporates the following enhancements:
– When [Face Only] is active, the icon will change from gray to white when a face is not detected.
– When the camera is turned off the IS mechanical lock will be active regardless of the position of the switch.
When CN-E70-200mm T4.4 L IS KAS S is attached the following features are enabled:
– Autofocus using the Dual Pixel CMOS AF function.
– The joystick on the camera’s grip unit can be set to operate the zoom.
– Manual control of the iris with Camera’s Control dial.
– Control of focus, zoom and iris using the separately-sold Remote Controller RC-V100.
– Automatic aperture and push auto iris functions.
– Start/stop recording on the lens grip.
– Retrieval of Lens metadata, such as the model name and the focal distance will display on the camera.
Adds peripheral illumination correction for the following lenses.
– COMPACT-SERVO Lens [CN-E70-200mm T4.4 L IS KAS S]
– EF Lens [EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM], [EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM]
Caution:
– Firmware Version 1.0.5.1.00 is for updating Cinema EOS C100 Mark II cameras running firmware version 1.0.0.1.00 – 1.0.4.1.00. If your camera’s firmware is already version 1.0.5.1.00, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Once the camera is updated to the latest version, it cannot be restored to a previous version.
Preparations for the Firmware Update:
After the Firmware update has been performed, the camera’s menu and custom picture settings will be reset. It is recommended that users save their menu and custom picture settings as settings data to an SD card, separate from the one that will be used to carry out the update, before starting update operations. This saved data can be loaded into the camera and the settings can be changed after the update has been completed. For further information on this, please refer to the section in the unit’s Instruction Manual titled “Saving and Loading Camera Settings”.
Instrucciones de instalación:
– Guarde y descomprima el archivo descargable.
– Insert the SD card into the camera’s SD card slot, and close the card cover.
– Slide the Power switch to CAMERA.
– After pressing the MENU button, open the [Initialize Media] submenu.
– Select [SD Card] and then press SET.
– Select [Complete] (complete initialization) and then press SET.
– When you select [OK] and then press SET, complete initialization of the SD card will start.
– When the confirmation message appears, press SET.
– Press the MENU, and slide the Power switch to OFF, and then remove the SD card from the camera.
– Copy the firmware update data to the SD card
– Insert the SD card prepared into the camera’s SD card slot.
– Slide the Power switch to CAMERA.
– After pressing the MENU button, open the camera firmware submenu.
– [System Setup] [Firmware] [Camera]
– The firmware update confirmation screen will be displayed.
– When you select [OK], the firmware update will start.
– After the update ends, the camera will restart automatically, and a firmware update completion screen will be displayed.
– When you select OK, all settings will be reset and the [Date/Time] screen will appear. Set the date/time.
– Check that the firmware version has changed to current one.
– Press the MENU, and slide the Power switch to OFF, and then remove the SD card from the camera.
