New Features/Enhancement:
– Now the RE LED will be solid on and won’t go off in 2 minutes any more after the WPS connection is established successfully.
– Improved the compatibility and stability of the device.
Bug Fixed:
– When going through the Quick Setup process and choosing to set SSID and MAC manually, the configuration won’t be saved if click Next and then click Back.
– The device name identified by the root AP will not be RE200 after WPS connection is established.
How to upgrade TP-LINK Range Extender:
– After you downloaded the firmware, please use decompression software to extract the firmware file to a folder;
– Do NOT upgrade the firmware via wireless connection except
– Do NOT turn off the power or cut down the Ethernet cable during upgrade process;
– Because after upgrading the old settings may be lost, so please write down the key settings as a backup before you start to upgrade.
– Step 1 Log into the TP-LINK device by typing http://tplinkrepeater.net/ in the address bar of the web browser (such as Internet Explorer). The username and password are both admin unless you have changed it before.
– Step 2 Klicken Sie auf Systemprogramme -> Firmware-Aktualisierung, klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Durchsuchen, um die Firmware auszuwählen, die Sie bereits in den Ordner extrahiert haben.
– Step 3 Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Upgrade. Das Gerät wird nach Abschluss des Upgrades automatisch neu gestartet. Bitte warten Sie ca. 3 Minuten.
– Step 4 Click Status, verify that the device’s firmware has been upgraded.
– Step 5 Then, check the status page of your device, if necessary please re-enter or reconfigure the device manually with the parameters you have written down before upgrading.
